Hand-tinted photograph taken facing west on Atlantic Avenue (9th Avenue). The photograph shows hotels along the north side of the avenue between Centre Street and 1st Street SE. This is across from the CPR depot. Hotels are the Grand Central, The Empire Hotel, Commercial Hotel (Yale), Alberta Hotel and The Palace. Horse drawn vehicles and pedestrians are seen on the dirt road in front of these establishments.
Verso, handwritten: "Blanche got you(sic) letter all right also you(sic) to (sic) cards Was glad you had a good time Yours [illegible]"
