Description Printed verso: "Heritage Park, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Burnside Ranch and Hay Rack. The ranch house, built by Ewsin Donald McKay in 1887 and named 'Burnside' because of the creek or 'burn' which ran through it. The small ranch in early days was a family affair. Here, Dad and son start from the ranch yard with the hay rack." Handwritten verso: Aug 5/79 Thinking of you both every inch of the way. Don't let this Cdn scene make you homesick. Don't miss a thing - looking forward to all your stories. Much love Myrtle & Mabel.
