Originally published as part of Appendix no.36, A1859 ( <i>Appendix to the seventeenth volume of the Journals of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada: From the 29th January to 4th May, 1859, both days inclusive in the twenty-second year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Queen Victoria </i>). Also published, New York: Greenwood Press, 1968. For British edition <i>see </i>Peel <xref>365</xref>; for French version <i>see </i>Peel <xref>382</xref>. In Staton's <i>Bibliography of Canadiana </i>, no.3912 is a supplementary volume "Photographs acoompanying [sic] a report on the Assiniboine and Saskatchewan exploring expedition." The portfolio contains 37 mounted photographs. These are apparently the photographs listed in the appendix of Hind's <i>Narrative of the Canadian Red River exploring expedition of 1857 </i>as being available from J. Hogarth, London.
