Description Synge advocated "deliverance of the land from the yoke, dominion, and exclusive privileges of trade of the existing Hudson's Bay Company. The power to effect this at any moment has been expressly reserved by the Crown, and it would be at once accomplished by the proclamation of any part or parts thereof to be made a colony or colonies" (page 17).
