A Polish edition titled <i>Burza nad Kanada </i>appeared in Warsaw in 1936. Novel about Louis Riel and the Red River Rebellion of 1869-1870. Constantin-Weyer was even-handed in his presentation of both Métis and Canadian settlers as possessed of unattractive personality traits and behaviour.
