Blouse was worn by Greta Miller, aged 7, as she fled the Great Vancouver Fire of June 13, 1886, which destroyed the city. She was the daughter of the late Jonathan Miller, who was the first postmaster of Vancouver. Mrs. Archibald Stevenson (Greta Miller) presented the blouse to the City Archive in April 1957. See copies of letters from Major J.S. Matthews to Mrs. Stevenson in Doc. Spec. file.
