BELONGED TO MAJOR L.D. TAYLOR; presented to the Archives by L.D. Taylor's son, Kenneth Taylor, Seattle Washington, in 1946 as part of "a basket full of all sorts of trinkets".
a) rectangular delegate's brooch with "Vancouver" marked across top half; below is sleeve into which piece of cardboard (d) has been pushed; below bar pin of brooch is a second bar pin onto which ribbon b) (b) has been threaded; b) is corded rayon, vertically striped in red, white and blue and is marked "Vancouver board of trade, excursion to central British Columbia, July 17-30, 1925"; pinned to this ribbon is ribbon c) which is yellow sateen with black printing marked "Prince Rupert board of trade"; d) marked "mayor l.d. Taylor".
